Sheer Strakes! Bow View

The sheer strakes went on just fine. I did bring them up at the bow about an inch and a bit less at the stern because the planks looked pinched to me at either end. I won't know for sure if that was a good decision until I turn the boat over, but it looks right to me the way it is now.

The next steps are fitting the external keel parts, sanding, priming, and painting the outside of the hull. Once all of that is done, we can turn the boat over! Click here to continue with the story.
